This is Sofia 3D Printed Necklace, named after and created in collaboration with transfeminist crip activist and witch Sofia Righetti Nottegar.
The witch is THE marginalized antagonist, the one who is ungovernable by the patriarchy and who uses her powers for the benefit of herself, nature and her coven.
During the creation of this necklace, we chose to unite two figures: the pentagram and the symbol of the transfeminist fight. The pentagram is a symbol of witchcraft representing the five elements (air, earth, water, fire and spirit) and a protection amulet for those who wear it.
It is here surrounded by the icon of transfeminism because witchcraft is intrinsically transfeminist and welcomes everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, species.
Everybody can wear this amulet, and with the understanding of the meaning behind it, you can contribute to destroy the stigma around witchcraft!
